Construction presses on. Many interior features are now coming to life.
Great Progress April 30, 2010
The progress is incredible. Windows are in, the back porches are on. They were installing the post and beam front porch today. The masons are hard at work on the brick foundation.
Construction of the Post and Beam Roof February 26, 2010
You can begin to get a feel for how attractive the exterior design of this home is. Incredible mortise and tenon joinery, walls of glass - no detail has been overlooked. Notice the tortoise shell carvings on the bottom of the posts.
Framing begins on the Second Floor February 20, 2010
The crews are really flying now. First floor is framed, sheathing is installed. Now on to the second floor.

Wow, what progress in just a week. The house is really beginning to take shape. Also, notice the pictures of the pool. Good progress there too.

The foundation is prepared and the slab is poured December 16, 2009
The foundation is back-filled, compacted, reinforced and the slab is poured. We're ready to go vertical.
The Shot-Crete pool is ready to have the forms stripped December 10, 2009
You can really begin to see what the pool is going to look like. Note the integrated hot tub, sitting high above the pool light. Also, check out the large sun deck - and what is that other hot tub looking thing by the sun deck? That is an integrated firepit, with a sheer descent waterfall.
The Timber work begins December 10, 2009
The timbers are created in the shop and prepared to be delivered to the job site.

Work is well underway. The foundation work is wrapped up - it's on to some rough grading and preparation for the slab.
